You have no items in your shopping bag

I have been buying Anna Sholz clothes for ten years and can rarely bear to part with them. Always one of your most loyal fans. These days, sadly, I feel utterly alienated by the frantic print and overwrought detailing. Oh why oh why are there sentimental patterns on the back pockets of the new jeans? I don’t wear jewellery with jeans; I don’t want girly patterns on an essentially masculine garment. If you want a sweetie look, you can accessorise them yourself.
I have complimented Anna before on her ability to cut the perfect armhole in a classic garment. I would love something plain and structured – not floppy, low cut and tunic like. Yes there are a few good jackets and I have got one, but more, please, for the less hip woman who hasn’t got the skin tone to take those acidic colours and garish prints. And if you are big busted, it’s hard to find strapless bras for strange strappy arrangements or ones that give you a cleavage. Seriously.
My suggestion for women like the previous commentator, who prefer Anna’s more structured, classic pieces, would be to come into a store to look at the collection…
My store is Emma Plus, in Brighton, and if you are near enough to be able to visit us, you will see that there is plenty of beautiful Anna Scholz that you will love..as much as ever, provided you are able to come in at the right time of the season. It’s just that her collection is much larger now, and the brighter items have grown in number.
I would challenge anyone, anywhere, to be able to create the beautiful, effortless womenswear in larger sizes that Anna does. Honestly, despite the attention that her softer and brighter styles attract, I don’t think that she will ever stop creating her lovely tailored items.
If you are able to forge a relationship with a store that stocks a range you buy, you will find the buyer will deliberately seek out the items that you like, and forward-order them specially for you, meaning that there will be something gorgeous for you every season!
