Emma Reviews Her Fave Anna Scholz Pieces from A/W ’12

November 21, 2012 / 0 Comments

Emma of the fabulous blog Oh, The Places You’ll Go has penned another review of Anna’s clothes. We love her reviews because, not only does she say lovely things about Anna’s designs, but it’s just so fun to see how nice she looks in the clothes.

“Putting on an Anna Scholz dress is like writing a love song to my curves…,” writes Emma. “THEY JUST ADORE IT. This clothing is always amazing and beautiful and interesting.”

Here she is modelling pieces from Anna’s Autumn-Winter ’12 collection. We think our customers might find the specific things she says about these garments useful as well. Click here to read more extensively.

One of her favourites (and Anna’s too!) was the Double Silk Back Cut-Out Dress with the contrasting dandelion and galaxy prints. She adored “the contrast between the busy nature of the top – versus the more scattered print below. … I just felt so RIGHT in this dress…pretty, feminine, sexy and confident all at once.”

Emma felt both comfortable and edgy in Anna’s fairytale print Crepe Boxpleat Shirt Dress (on the right, below).

“The print also blows my mind…,” Emma wrote. “Now, I GET that this may not be to everyone’s taste – but for me – prints are part of the reason I LOVE clothes. … This one’s a winner for me. I love the originality here – and the lack of fear… To me, this is a bold dress – and I LOVE those!”

The berry Tailoring Pleat Front Dress was Emma’s boyfriend’s favourite and she loved it too.  She liked that the pleat work at the front gives her “a feminine form – but also adds something interesting and pretty to the dress.”

But her favourite detail of this piece was the lining! “I put this on and was literally gobsmacked by how luxurious it felt on my skin,” Emma wrote. “The lining is a gorgeous berry colour and really only adds to make this garment special. It looks and feels beautiful – even before putting it on!”

As ever, we thank Emma for her kind words… and for playing dress-up with us!
