Introducing the Ikea Bookbook
Ikea are pretty initiative when it comes to what they do, and this advertisement approach had us all in stiches here in the office.
Using apple’s outline for their over the top product commercials, Ikea have spun it on its head by presenting their A/W 14 Catalogue as some sort of technologic device.
As Jörgen Eghammer, also known as Chief Design Güru explains, the catalogue is not a digital book or even an e-book but it’s the Bookbook.
No need for power cables or waiting around for the pictures to load. Everything’s there right in front of you in an instant.
We are all sold and will be visiting our local Ikea store to pick one up this weekend.
