Plus sized wars Channel 4 tonight
Tonight [ Tuesday April 21st ] Channel 4 takes an in depth look at the high street end of the plus size fashion industry. The documentary follows some well-known plus size bloggers such as Georgina Horne of Fuller Figure Fuller Bust [ See our exclusive interview with her featuring our Spot Jersey Ruched Wrap Dress ] and established high street brands.
The programme states that 60% of British women are now plus size and the plus size fashion industry is one of the fastest growing areas in fashion retail. The documentary has exclusive access to some of the UK’s plus size brands ,featuring – Yours, Evans and Taking Shape. It takes us through the fashion process from the designing of new styles ,the creation of new advertising campaigns featuring models such as Tess Holliday through to the opening and stocking of new stores.
We hope that the documentary shows both the plus size fashion industry and its’ customers in a positive light and inspires all women to embrace their shapes and sizes.
