AS If you weren’t a blogger, what would you like to be doing?
GH If I wasn’t a blogger I’d probably still be waitressing. I once dreamt of opening a salad and juice bar, so maybe I’d do that!
AS What is your earliest childhood memory?
GH My earliest memory (or so I believe) is of me in my cousin’s garden in Australia going down one of those washing up liquid covered plastic sheets – such simple fun! I must have been around 2 and a half.
AS What is your favourite smell?
GH I quite like the smell of the gel nail solution that they use in my local salon.
AS What song is special to you?
GH I love ‘Money For Nothing’ as it reminds me of my Mum.
AS If you could have a piece of clothing with the print of your favourite food, what would it be?
GH Ooh that’s tricky! I quite like the idea of a garlic print circle dress! With cute garlic bulb button details.
AS Your pets feature heavily on your blog, how important are animals to you?
GH I do love animals, my pet rats and my parent’s dogs. I’m such an animal botherer, I always have to stop, drop and fuss pets. As a result they usually hate me!!!
AS If you could change one thing in the world, what would it be?
GH On a lighthearted note – bad body confidence and badly fitting bras.
AS Who would play you in a movie?
GH Jack Black!
AS Summer or Winter holidays?
GH Summer forever. There’s nothing good about the cold.
AS What’s the best thing about falling in love?
GH Knowing that there’s an endless supply of kisses, cuddles and silly jokes out there just for me.
AS What is your favourite book and why?
GH His Dark Materials
AS What have you learnt about yourself that surprises you?
GH That I’m stronger than I thought. In the physical and mental sense
AS If you had a superhero power, what would it be?
GH Invisibility would be awesome.
AS Favourite Instagram filter?
GH I quite like playing with the shadows and lighting and warmth effects rather than filters.
AS What is your prized possession?
GH My phone! Sad but true, I live my life on it. Writing posts, checking emails, uploading food photos.
AS What is a best bit of advice a friend or family member has given you?
GH To let go of grudges. I’m trying.
